- Shake the bottle to create an even consistency of the product’s ingredients.
- Apply SPF 30 or higher before applying the Browning Lotion.
- Apply the Browning Lotion on top of the sun protectant generously and evenly to all desired areas.
- Re-apply at frequent intervals to achieve maximum results including after swimming, sweating, or towel drying.
- Beginners maximum sun time: one hour.

We do have babes who use the Browning Lotion on their face. When doing so, we strongly advise applying the lotion to a small area of the skin first to see how your skin reacts before deciding to apply the product to the whole area, and don’t forget to apply SPF 30 or higher beforehand.

Will it stain your clothes or towel?

Amazing Maui Babe Browning Lotions are brown in color and will rub off on items such as towels, swimsuits, etc., but they should not stain. We suggest rinsing the product from items quickly after contact is made to avoid any staining.
If that isn’t possible or an option at the time, we suggest the following:
– Soaking any items in water
– Using a stain remover and allowing it to sit for a while before rinsing. (If using a stain remover, be sure to read the directions to view how long it is recommended to allow the product to sit on an item to remove stains.)
Maui Babe tip:
We recommend using darker colored towels, bikinis, clothing, and other items when tanning with our suntan lotions.

We recommend the Tanning Salon Formula or Browning Lotion with Coconut Oil for tanning bed use. If you already purchased the Original Browning Lotion, just be sure ask your salon ahead of time what products they permit. (:
The main difference between the ingredients is the Tanning Salon Formula and Browning Lotion with Coconut Oil do not contain mineral oil.

I absolutely cannot stress enough how much I love this product. I live in Ohio, so a good tan takes a LOT of hard work…and doesnt last long. Maui Babe to the rescue! I tan so much faster, and I always follow up with the after sun lotion to help my tan last. Perfect combo! Smells fantastic, leaves my skin golden and SO soft, and is also a great moisturizer.

I was reading through your reviews and decided to leave my own because I had the same reaction, I was also skeptical about buying this I’ve seen it for about 2 years in my local grocery store and just thought it was too good to be true. I broke down and bought it about I think it was last summer and I’m on my fourth bottle I love and adore this I use nothing but this now and I can’t believe it took me so long to buy this.
